8th Annual Another Success

November 24,2009 - The 8th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon has raised over $750,000 and the money continues to roll in for the 15 participating hospital foundations.

The day long event broadcast on AM920 CKNX, 101.7 The One and 94.5 The Bull on October 17th was as bright as the sun shining outside. The phones started ringing at 9:00am and rang throughout the day. Many people stopped by the Wingham studios of the radio station to drop off their cheques in person or at the many events held in communities around the region.

Donations will continue to be accepted for this year’s projects so contact your local hospital foundation if you missed the Radiothon.

Planning is already underway for the 9th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon scheduled for Saturday October 16, 2010.
