11th ANNUAL CKNX HEALTH CARE HEROES RADIOTHON

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20TH, 2012

On Saturday, October 20th, 2012 sixteen hospital foundations and CKNX will put their resources together and come together to host a unique all day fundraiser at the CKNX Radio Station building in Wingham, Ontario.

The 11th annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon will be broadcast live on CKNX radio stations; 101.7 The One, 94.5 The Bull and CKNX AM 920. Listeners across Midwestern Ontario will be asked to phone in and make a donation to any one of the 16 Hospital Foundations participating in the event. An entire studio at CKNX will be devoted to the Radiothon, in which a 20 line telephone switchboard and a massive crew of enthusiastic volunteers will be set up and ready to take your calls.

The Radiothon has managed to raise over $7.1 million dollars for health care in Midwestern Ontario during the past ten years that it has been running annually.
